As I knew Veronica she was a lively, articulate lady who enjoyed playing a game of golf with my mother. I loved looking at the posted photos - just how alike you are, Shona, to your mother in looks, especially when she was much younger. And her mother before her too. I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who joined Dad and I yesterday and make our farewell to Mum so memorable. It was very special for us both to see so many of her friends and hearing all your memories and kind thoughts. I know how much Mum would have loved to see you all and reminisce on what good times we all shared with her. Thank you for all the kind donations to Alzheimer’s Research - let’s hope they succeed in their ongoing fight against dementia in all its forms. My best wishes. Shona

I loved the idea of setting up this website where family and friends could come to remember my lovely Mum, Veronica. It would be great to hear from you about stories that you may like to share about her or photos that you have. I will be adding mine over the next few weeks and I hope that this can be a lovely way to remember her. As most of you know she fought Alzheimer's for the last 10 years of her life and it slowly robbed us all of the strong and vibrant woman who had such presence and elegance in our lives. I hope that we can share memories of all the good times that you shared with her as we remember her now that she is gone from us. Shona
